Wellington City Council/New Zealand Academy of Sport North Island Talent Development Programme Mayoral Reception

 

This afternoon some of the members of the WHPA programme attended a reception hosted by Mayor Prendergast to recognise the WCC/NZ Academy of Sport North Island Talent Development Programme.
 
WHPA has been part of this programme for 3 years. This year 9 sports were recognised with some 90 athletes involved.
 
We are indebted to both the WCC and the NZAS North Island for the huge contribution they make to our programme.
 
Tom Green accepted a certificate on behalf of the athletes from Mayor Prendergast.
